Joomla VS Wordpress - Which One Is For You?

We all have some idea about wordpress and some of us also have some knowledge about joomla… Now it is a question that which one is perfect for you? Remember, I am not saying which one is best… Just with which one you will feel comfort…

The big difference between wordpress & joomla is
the ‘cost’. Most of the plugin of wordpress is 100% free. But in the case of joomla, you have to pay a little amount of money. Obviously there are various free sources for joomla, but if your compare with wordpress, then as far I find out, 85%-90% is totally free in wordpress and in joomla, 70%-75% is costly but obviously cheap…

Now, I want to say that don’t worry about the cost, if your work hard and search again & again, you will find various plugins for free that makes joomla more professional…

In my next post, I will discuss about how you can turn your joomla to professional CMS site with free plugins, cause I have recently query it and find out some exclusive information. And I think you don’t need any help for wordpress because it is the easiest software that I ever found…!

First of all, you need to decide what will be your main concept. If you want to make a social network with blogging platform and totally for free, I would suggest you for wordpress. Cause, it is perfect for you. But it will be so hard for you to find out professional templates for buddypress for free. If you don’t have knowledge about 'buddypress' of wordpress and 'community builder' of joomla, don’t worry, I will show you the way in my other posts.

So, I was talking about wordpress. But in joomla, you won’t face any problem for template. Cause, you don’t need any different template for social networking with ‘Community Builder’. Same template of simple joomla will work with CB.
Remember one thing, obviously you can use wordpress as CMS site. So, CMS or Blog is not the main factor for choosing your software. The main point is the ‘cost’ and some big points are ‘social networking’, ‘template’ & ‘plugins’ for choosing the software.

Now, if your concept is not only for social networking, but act as professional, want other professionals to walk around your site, then joomla is best for you. And specially joomla is for advanced people, not for beginners. But beginners also can use it, just need to have some technical knowledge.

In short, if you want to earn easily, want to build a network, wordpress is best for you. And if you can pay a bit, want to earn more and to work with professionals, if you have enough time, want to build business network, joomla is for you. Internet is a part of our life. Every people even a kid have his own blog or website. In a time, it was so difficult to make a website. It was only for professionals. Also it was so hard to communicate with our relatives or friends who are living in abroad. It was difficult to have the practical knowledge about the world, beauties of nature, about the culture, traditions and so on. And also people’s thinking or imagination power was in limit…

But now, there are no limits in anywhere. Everyone including young teenagers are communicating with the world, performing like professionals, building website, earning from internet and so on. They are using internet for socializing. They are passing their leisure with fun. They are spreading their knowledge and talents in each and every corner of the world…

Whatever you purpose is… Entertainment or business deal… You have to be social first. If your vision is so big, you have to connect with the world, not only with local area…

You have to make your online identity. You may have pre-ready profiles or may love to make your own unique identity. That mean, you can build a network, a blog or a website… In first think, you will consider having some accounts in social networking or dating sites & business networking sites… Your second thought will be to have a blog of your own… And who are advanced, they will think to have a website.

There are various people who think blogging or website making is so hard. They don’t want to have any trouble, in a short they don’t want to waste time. Yes, it is true. Some people considered it as wasting of time. Yeah! I am also agree with them. If you just create accounts in various social sites and pass your leisure with nothing... If you start blogging and keep writing, but don’t get unknown, unique & returning visitors, and if you don’t have any thirst for learning, you are totally wasting your time. Confused about unknown visitors? I mean to say about the people around the world, not only those people whom you know personally.

Why not make yourself talk of the topic? Why not make some cash from your blog? Why not help others? Why not search the net and increase your knowledge? But it is so sad that most of the people don’t interest in working. Always they want to get everything without any industry. But why? There is nothing so easy without any hard working…

And be careful, never focus on get rich within 2 days and any quick rich scheme. Most of them are fake. And rest of the schemes are restricted. Ask a question yourself, why they will make you rich within a day or week? You will get the answer.

But also you have to surf the net. Research the net everyday and you will be stunned what you were missing!... Don’t know where to start? I will show you the way. And hey, now a question that why I will show you the way? Honestly speaking, as we are newly started online company, we need huge traffic. And besides, we just hope from you to follow us on twitter. That’s it.

There is no limitation in study. Your study will never end. You have learn a new thing everyday. You have to research on the net. Ok, it may seems boring to some people.

What is your favorite thing? Game? What is the benefit of making game as your favorite thing if you don't know about it. Start searching and learning about games. Learn who is the inspiration for these games... what kind of games other people like most... What you can do with games... How to make a game and so on...

Have a thirst for blogging? Don't be idle and never just create an account in blogging platform and start writing. Try to do something with this. Customize your blogging platform, earn from your blog, help others from your blog, build your own blogging network and so on. Don't have any idea? Then learn. Can't pay for learning? Do something cool with your hobby or passion or talents. Become a professional webmaster.

There are varois way to boost traffic of your website such as paid traffic, unique visitor, traffic exchange, directory, fan page and so on.

But do you ever think that you can bring your blog in your facebook profile, fan page and even in your facebook group... and can share it with thousands of people? Now you can...

First go to NetWorkedBlogs and click on 'Add you blog' button:

Then login to your facebook account:

Now click 'Allow' button:

You will be taken to this page and you have to follow a some blogs according to your taste (we'll appreciate if you search for 'WebTechnoBD Community' and follow that) :

Now click 'Next' at below of the page:

After that at the top of the new page, click 'Register a Blog':

Fill the form and click 'Next':

You will be asked if you are the real author of the blog or not. If you are not, then click 'NO':

If you don't verify, you have to verify it later for full access by going to the networked blog's profile section and have to click 'Pending confirmation ...... the author':

Anyway, if you aren't the author and click 'no', then you have to select your friend who is the real author:

But if you are the author, click 'YES':

In the new page, you will see fan & group section and others. (1) click at the section to add your blog to your fan page. Have any group? (2) Click at group section. (3) Don't forget to select 'auto-publish to personal profile'. Want to test if your blog working or not? (4) Just publish a test post. (5) Now you can customize further in 'customizations' tab:

That's all. You have done enough! Now be relax. Because you have totally finished it!
