Joomla VS Wordpress - Which One Is For You?

We all have some idea about wordpress and some of us also have some knowledge about joomla… Now it is a question that which one is perfect for you? Remember, I am not saying which one is best… Just with which one you will feel comfort…

The big difference between wordpress & joomla is
 the ‘cost’. Most of the plugin of wordpress is 100% free. But in the case of joomla, you have to pay a little amount of money. Obviously there are various free sources for joomla, but if your compare with wordpress, then as far I find out, 85%-90% is totally free in wordpress and in joomla, 70%-75% is costly but obviously cheap…

Now, I want to say that don’t worry about the cost, if your work hard and search again & again, you will find various plugins for free that makes joomla more professional…

In my next post, I will discuss about how you can turn your joomla to professional CMS site with free plugins, cause I have recently query it and find out some exclusive information. And I think you don’t need any help for wordpress because it is the easiest software that I ever found…!

First of all, you need to decide what will be your main concept. If you want to make a social network with blogging platform and totally for free, I would suggest you for wordpress. Cause, it is perfect for you. But it will be so hard for you to find out professional templates for buddypress for free. If you don’t have knowledge about 'buddypress' of wordpress and 'community builder' of joomla, don’t worry, I will show you the way in my other posts.

So, I was talking about wordpress. Even, if your wish is to earn online easily, to have some good time, and to have an easy but professional blogging tool, then obviously wordpress is perfect for you. And there are various professional templates for wordpress what you can get totally for free. Remember, simple wordpress template is not acceptable if you wish to use wordpress as social networking site with buddypress. You have to search for buddypress compatible template.

But in joomla, you won’t face any problem for template. Cause, you don’t need any different template for social networking with ‘Community Builder’. Same template of simple joomla will work with CB.
Remember one thing, obviously you can use wordpress as CMS site. So, CMS or Blog is not the main factor for choosing your software. The main point is the ‘cost’ and some big points are ‘social networking’, ‘template’ & ‘plugins’ for choosing the software.

Now, if your concept is not only for social networking, but act as professional, want other professionals to walk around your site, then joomla is best for you. And specially joomla is for advanced people, not for beginners. But beginners  also can use it, just need to have some technical knowledge.

In short, if you want to earn easily, want to build a network, wordpress is best for you. And if you can pay a bit, want to earn more and to work with professionals, if you have enough time, want to build business network, joomla is for you. Now, it’s up to you, want to earn easily or want to run you own business…
